The Arizona Outdoor Hall of Fame

Established in 1998 through a partnership between Wildlife for Tomorrow, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and the Arizona Game and Fish Department, the Arizona Outdoor Hall of Fame stands as one of the state’s highest honors for individuals and organizations dedicated to Arizona’s wildlife, natural resources, and outdoor heritage.

For nearly three decades, the Hall of Fame has recognized the people, organizations, and leaders whose vision, service, and commitment have shaped the future of conservation in Arizona. These honorees are more than contributors to the outdoors - they are champions of Arizona’s wild places, advocates for responsible stewardship, and driving forces behind efforts that conserve wildlife, strengthen conservation programs, expand outdoor opportunities, and inspire future generations.

Past inductees represent a wide range of backgrounds, including wildlife volunteerism, corporate leadership, public service, media, education, conservation advocacy, philanthropy, and community leadership. What they share is a deep and lasting commitment to Arizona’s natural beauty, wildlife heritage, and outdoor traditions.

Induction into the Arizona Outdoor Hall of Fame is a meaningful recognition of extraordinary impact. Each honoree has helped advance Arizona’s conservation legacy in a way that will continue to benefit the state’s wildlife, landscapes, and communities for generations to come.
