Join us on December 11th from 10am - 12pm for Community Day!
For one day, we’re opening our outdoor classroom to the community. Step outside, get your hands dirty, and experience Mesquite Wildlife Oasis for yourself! Explore the habitat, meet our environmental educators, and participate in some of the same hands-on conservation lessons experienced by thousands of Arizona students.
What You’ll Experience
🌵 Explore Desert Habitat
Take a guided nature walk and discover how plants and wildlife survive in Arizona's desert environment.
💧 Discover Life in the Ponds
Get an up-close look at aquatic insects and learn what these tiny creatures can tell us about water quality and healthy ecosystems.
🦉 Investigate Arizona Owls
Dig into an owl pellet and discover what an owl's last meal can teach us about predators, prey, and food webs.
🐾 Learn Like a Mesquite Student
Participate in hands-on activities from the environmental education program delivered to Arizona students throughout the school year.
